Qantas jet makes emergency landing

An Australian Qantas 747 has had to make an emergency landing in the Philippines capital Manila because of damage to its undercarriage.
According to passengers, the flight, QF-30, which was on its way from London to Hong Kong, sustained a large tear in the underside of the plane.
None of the passengers was seriously injured when the underside of the plane exploded, sending debris into the passenger section.
After the incident, which occurred over the South China Sea, passengers were told one of the rear doors had been holed.
