Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], May 14 (ANI): A team of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) on Tuesday helped the devotees to cross the snow-laden paths and provided first-aid to the injured in Kedarnath.

The portals of the Kedarnath temple in the Garhwal Himalayan range were thrown open to pilgrims on May 6 after a six-month-long winter break.

With the opening of portals, the pilgrims can take auspicious Chardham yatra to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

The Chardham Yatra which includes a visit to the Kedarnath temple attracts lakhs of tourists and devotees every year from across the country and abroad. (ANI)
